Camera to Cartoon

Camera to cartoon, live: AI turns you into a cartoon character on your webcam as you move.

Camera to cartoon: you, drawn as a character, live

This tool turns your webcam into a cartoon character. You pick a character, such as an anime girl with teal hair or a cartoon otter in a raincoat, or upload your own character image. The character then replaces you on screen and follows your head and hands as you move, while your real room stays behind it.

It works on the live camera only, never on a photo or a recorded video. The cartoon plays in the Live AI output tile on this page, about half a second behind you. Your first picture usually appears within a few seconds of pressing Start.

Camera to cartoon fits a video chat where you want a character on screen, a stream with a mascot face, or just playing in front of the webcam. Pick a character, press Start and see how your movements carry over.

Camera to cartoon: set up your camera and character

A few minutes of prep decide how the cartoon looks.

  • Use a character image with one character facing the camera, as clear as you can find.
  • Upload JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB.
  • Use art you drew, generated or have the right to use, not someone else's character.
  • Sit so your head and shoulders fill the frame: an upper-body webcam shows only the upper body of the character.
  • Keep one person in front of the camera, because one character is shown per session.
  • Keep this tab in front, since browsers slow down video in background tabs.
  • Use a desktop browser with a laptop or USB webcam, where we have tested it.

Frequently asked questions

No, only on your live camera. Open your webcam on this page and the cartoon version of you plays next to it while you move. We never record or save your camera video, and the reference image goes straight to the AI model, never to our servers.

Open your camera, pick a character or upload your own, then press Start. The cartoon appears in the output tile beside your camera. In our tests the first picture came in about 4 to 8 seconds, and the cartoon ran about half a second behind you.

No. There is no free trial and no free seconds. Starting a session needs an account and credits, and credits are not on sale yet. If you have none, a dialog lets you join an email waitlist.

One credit per second, charged only while it runs, for up to 30 minutes per session. If no picture appears within 20 seconds, the session is not charged.

For camera to cartoon you can pick from two ready-made characters, an anime girl with teal hair and a cartoon otter in a raincoat, or upload your own character image. Check the result on screen, as it is AI output and may not match the image exactly.

A filter redraws your whole picture in a style. Camera to cartoon puts a character in your place and follows your movements, while your real room stays as it is. Nothing is installed: it runs in a desktop browser tab.

Not as a camera. There is no virtual camera, app or plug-in, so the cartoon plays only on this page. For a stream, capture the browser window in your software and tell viewers the character is AI.

No. The tool has no recording or download button, so a camera to cartoon session leaves no file. If you want a clip, record your own screen with other software.

Your camera video is never recorded or saved by us, and your reference photo goes straight to the face-swap model, never to our servers. Your video travels to the AI model over an encrypted connection and the cartoon comes straight back to your browser.
